    Robin Obenchain, BSP, PSR Specialist

    Quality of Life . . .
What is quality of life? Societies most often relate quality of life to one’s general well-being. As a psychological-social rehabilitation specialist, I advocate and assist each client to identify, develop, and implement skills to meet his or her basic biological and physiological needs such as location of housing and food. PSR starts at this basic level, but continues with skill building for psychological needs such as symptom management, self-efficacy, self-esteem, personal responsibility, problem solving, communication, and a sense of belonging/support in social groups.
Assisting our clients is my passion, but is also a reward to observe each providing resolutions to his or her own needs and beyond. Through skill building with these foundational determinants, each client can meet and overcome each challenge, one step at a time.
I am a mother of two wonderful, grown daughters. I am thrilled to share that my elder daughter also serves in the human service field. I enjoy walking my dog, Gillian, speed walking, hiking Idaho’s beautiful mountains, reading, visiting museums of history and art, and most of all, time with my family. I reside in Nampa, Idaho.
