    Our Staff - Officers

Sabrina Swope, LMSW CEO/President Affinity Inc.

Sabrina received her bachelors degree in social work at Boise State University in 1992 and her masters degree in social work at Walla Walla University  in 1998. She is currently finishing up a PhD program in Organizational Psychology at Walden University by  2010.She has been working in the field of human service for over 20 years and has lived in the Boise and Meridian area that long. Growing up as a military brat, her father was in the Air Force so she was blessed with the opportunity to travel all over the United States and Europe and attended a DODDS High School at Clark Air Force Base in the Philippines. She is the single mother of four beautiful children. Having worked in the Treasure Valley for various private and public agencies, she was inspired to begin the Affinity agency where the focus was not only on quality care for the clients, but also for the staff providing the services. The work that is done in the human service arena is sometimes physically taxing but most often emotionally draining. So Affinity was incorporated in February 2000 and opened its doors and began serving clients in March of 2000. In the beginning we had two locations one in Caldwell and one in Boise, each office had approximately 3000 square feet, now we are expanded in both locations and have a beautiful office in McCall Idaho as well.

The philosophy that has driven the growth and success of Affinity has been my primary desire to provide a place/organization where people want to come to and where staff feels like they are heard and in fact do matter. Being a service oriented organization it is so important to take care of the people that spend their energy and expertise helping the individuals that come to the Affinity doors for assistance and guidance.  While we can’t lose sight of our clients it is important that as professionals we are ensuring that we are taken care of as well, otherwise the standard of care for our clients becomes low and our enthusiasm and creativity dampened.  In our 10th year of operation Affinity has become very well known in the local communities that are served. We have expanded programs and outreach work beyond the actual Affinity facilities.
